Ugh, stop twitching
browsers
goombas.org Posted 2002-04-09 06:53:12 by Jim Crawford
I've recently tested goombas.org in several different browsers (Lynx, Netscape 4, Mozilla, IE5 & 6, Opera and WebTV), and it seems to work in all of them, though it looks unexpectedly dodgy in Netscape 4. Anyone want to check it out with iCab?

The main reason I'm writing this, though, is that Opera rocks. It's much faster than IE and Mozilla, and much more compatible than Netscape 4. It also provides functionality like disabling pop-up windows without disabling javascript entirely, and also disabling cookies from anything other than the current page (the ones attached to ad banners, for instance).
