There are few kinds of coding as viscerally, measurably satisfying as size optimization... also few as useless, given the continual increase in RAM and hard disk size.
I've taken it a step further. Two, really. The first step is optimizing the size of source code ... the second is doing it to a qbasic game.
It's a fun game, though. Pretty addictive. And thanks to my genius for size-optimization, it probably won't take up more than one cluster of hard disk space.
Here it is. If you can squeeze out more bytes without removing functionality, let me know. Oh, and if you enjoy the game, let me know that too!
